Urge USDA to keep your family safe this Thanksgiving

For the past year, officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of Agriculture have been monitoring an outbreak of antibiotic-resistant Salmonella Reading that is linked to a wide variety of raw turkey products from multiple sources. The outbreak has sickened 164 people—nearly half of them needed to be hospitalized—and has killed one person.

Unfortunately, the USDA knows more about the turkey products implicated in the outbreak than it is disclosing to the public. Will you help by Tweeting today in support of our call for the USDA to release information about the current Salmonella outbreak?
